Adrien Brody
Attore cinematografico statunitense (n. New York 1973). Dopo aver studiato all'American academy of dramatic arts e alla High school for performing arts, ha interpretato il primo ruolo importante nel film di S. Soderbergh King of the hill (Piccolo grande Aaron, 1993). Nel 1998 T. Malick lo volle in The thin red line; è apparso poi in Summer of Sam (1999) di S. Lee e in Bread and roses (2000) di K. Loach. Con interpretazioni di sofferente intensità ha dato vita a personaggi complessi e introversi, come il musicista W. Szpilman in The pianist (2002) di R. Polanski, prova che gli è valsa il premio Oscar quale miglior attore.
